1月14日，在2026年未來礦業(yè)大會（The Future Minerals Forum）期間，在沙特工業(yè)和礦產(chǎn)資源部部長班達(dá)爾.胡萊爾(Bandar Al-Khorayef)閣下以及沙特投資大臣法利赫(KhalidAl-Falih)閣下的共同見證下，信義玻璃與沙特工業(yè)城市和技術(shù)區(qū)管理局（MODON）舉行項(xiàng)目簽約儀式。

信義玻璃執(zhí)行董事兼行政總裁董清世先生出席儀式，并代表信義玻璃與MODON正式簽署協(xié)議，此次簽約是信義玻璃積極響應(yīng)國家“一帶一路”倡議的重要成果，也是信義集團(tuán)推進(jìn)全球化戰(zhàn)略布局和中東區(qū)域產(chǎn)業(yè)延伸的關(guān)鍵一步。

該項(xiàng)目總投資約3.86億美元，占地面積超35萬平方米。項(xiàng)目規(guī)劃建設(shè)浮法玻璃、汽車玻璃及高性能Low-E節(jié)能玻璃生產(chǎn)線，產(chǎn)品將廣泛應(yīng)用于建筑與汽車領(lǐng)域。投產(chǎn)后，該項(xiàng)目將成為信義玻璃在中東地區(qū)的旗艦生產(chǎn)基地，同時也是沙特首家汽車玻璃生產(chǎn)企業(yè)，不僅填補(bǔ)了當(dāng)?shù)禺a(chǎn)業(yè)空白，還將優(yōu)化汽車產(chǎn)業(yè)供應(yīng)鏈，為沙特玻璃行業(yè)引入先進(jìn)制造技術(shù)與高品質(zhì)產(chǎn)品。

該項(xiàng)目將服務(wù)沙特本地市場，同時輻射至中東、北非及歐洲等地區(qū)市場，進(jìn)一步助力沙特2030愿景中關(guān)于產(chǎn)業(yè)本地化、出口多元化和先進(jìn)制造業(yè)發(fā)展的戰(zhàn)略目標(biāo)。

信義玻璃與MODON致力于將該項(xiàng)目打造為中沙產(chǎn)業(yè)合作標(biāo)桿，為沙特玻璃產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈長期發(fā)展和區(qū)域制造業(yè)提升貢獻(xiàn)力量。

On January 14, during the 2026 Future Minerals Forum, Xinyi Glass and the Saudi Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority (MODON) held a project signing ceremony. The event was witnessed by His Excellency Bandar Al-Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and His Excellency KhalidAl-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment.

 Mr. Tung Ching Sai,  Xinyi Glass Executive Director and CEO , attended the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of the company. This collaboration marks a significant achievement in Xinyi Glass’s active response to the Belt & Road Initiative and represents a key step in the group’s global strategic expansion and industrial extension into the Middle East region.

With a total investment of approximately USD 386 million and covering an area of over 350,000 square meters, the project will establish production lines for float glass, automotive glass, and high-performance Low-E energy-saving glass. The products will serve both the construction and automotive sectors.

Upon completion, the project will become Xinyi Glass’s flagship production base in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia’s first automotive glass manufacturer. It will fill a critical gap in the local industry, optimize the automotive supply chain, and introduce advanced manufacturing technology and high-quality products to Saudi Arabia’s glass sector.

The project will not only serve the domestic Saudi market but also supply regions including the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. It will further support the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in industrial localization, export diversification, and the development of advanced manufacturing.

Xinyi Glass and MODON are committed to building this project into a benchmark for industrial cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia, contributing to the long-term growth of Saudi Arabia’s glass industry and the enhancement of regional manufacturing capabilities.
